About
Between 2008 and 2011, I worked on my PhD thesis dealing with the Youth Policies of the Italian Communist Party between 1943 and 1960. My PhD was AHRC-funded. My supervisors were Prof Christopher Duggan and Dr Matthew Worley; my examiners were Prof Donald Sassoon and Prof Dan Healey.
In summer 2008 I was for four months in Germany, in Bonn, at the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung doing research on the German Social Democratic Party with a DAAD grant.
I received a BA (Hons) and a MA (Hons) in History at the University of Florence.
