About
I am a Research Assistant within the School of Construction Management and Engineering at University of Reading; working in the Health and Care Infrastructure Research and Innovation Centre (HaCIRIC), which is collaboration between existing research centers at Imperial College London and the Universities of Loughborough, Reading and Salford. It represents a resource valued at more than £10m, of which £7.2m consists of EPSRC support and £2.9m is from the four existing research centers.
As part of Theme 4 (The built environment and improving care delivery practices) within HaCIRIC in Reading, my role is to investigate briefing and design issues for healthcare projects, in particular the relationship between care delivery practices and the built environment, summary of the project I am currently involved with is on the papers page.
I have Joined HaCIRIC in April 2008 after finishing my masters degree in Construction Informatics at the University of Reading, before that I worked as Architectural Assistant /Architect in several Architectural firms in Sudan and the UK for 7 years, I obtained BSc (Hon.) Architecture from university of Khartoum in Sudan in 1999.
I live in Reading, with my husband and two daughters.
