My research aims to bring together expertise in basic immunology and biochemical engineering to produce the next generation of vaccines, and improve existing vaccines. Specific interests include the manufacture and formulation of oral vaccines based on attenuated live bacteria. Broader interests also include simplification of diagnostic immunoassays to take them out of the laboratory and to the point of care.
